My Mom has had a toothache all week from a new crown.She really has a high pain threshold so if she is complaining it is bad. I knew she was in bad shape when I stopped over on Saturday and mentioned getting some seafood from the road show at Costco.
After 3 phone calls this morning from Dad, he was adding items to his list of Costco needs,I arrived at their house about 4pm.Mom is in bed not looking good. She informs me her blood sugar is 328, her head hurts and so do all of her teeth. I asked her if she had called the dentist, and she says your Dad did. She informs me that there was only "beep beep" sound when he called. Thinking this is strange,I call the dentist office and listen to the message. Sure enough, the directions do say to call the following number listen for signal and leave your number followed by pound sign. I repeat this to my Mom, who says Daddy didn't leave a number.
I call for my Dad, and ask him if he listened to the entire message"No honey I didn't" was his reply..He tells us he is sorry and I call back and page the dentist. Mom's comment" How would you like to have him in charge of your life"? My comment is to take the 5th amendment!
