My Mother Knows Best began when I was 14 years old, standing in a mint green bathroom of our 2 story, 3 bedroom, and 1 and half bath house in Rochester N.Y. The bathroom was one of my mother's favorite places to corner me and share words of wisdom. In the years since then, I too have a daughter and have cornered her in the bathroom for words of wisdom as well.
